The International Schools Partnership (ISP) is a growing group of international schools which believes in amazing learning and is committed to getting better all the time. We have an exciting opportunity for a Research Analyst to join this dynamic and results-driven team. This role will be located remotely in Spain or the UK.

About the role

The Investment and Partnerships team is responsible for acquiring and building schools globally. This is a fast-paced team working across global time-zones to grow our family of schools.

The Reserch Analyst will be located in the UK or Spain, directly supporting the Investment Director and working alongside other Analysts in supporting our investment efforts. The team is extremely collegiate in approach and this individual will be expected to work across numerous cultures and geographies.

The main focus of the role is to create a full directory of open-source information.  Primarily, this involves capturing key data points within our CRM system.  In addition, the role involves making cold calls to gather and confirm data. Good communication skills are key. 

The successful candidate will be at the centre of our fast-paced team, and will be responsible for assisting with the sourcing, evaluating, negotiating and structuring of potential deals.

They will be a fast learner who is agile, able to adapt quickly and successfully to an ever-changing list of demands. A strong work ethic, positive attitude and commitment to be at their best professionally are all key qualities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working with a wide range of information tools and proprietary databases, providing in-depth research for the business
  • Using online tools to find high level market information
  • Maintaining good working practices to capture data
  • Communicating effectively over the phone and face to face
  • Using MS Office tools to produce summaries of research findings, tailored to project needs

About You

Qualifications & Experience

  • Highly computer literate and able to accurately input data at pace
  • Able to follow directions but also work independently
  • Work effectively within a wider team
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • An excellent eye for detail
  • University degree or equivalent: would suit a recent graduate
  • Fluency in additional languages is highly desirable: particularly Spanish, Portuguese and Italian
  • Strong data organisation, analysis and interpretation skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • An ability to distil research findings into clear, concise summaries
  • An ability to adapt to changing job requirements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
