CEO Office – Strategy Associate

The CEO office’s mission is to support the Group CEO in the Group Strategy and any related high-priority special project. The Associate will report to the Head of CEO Office. This is a rare opportunity to see every aspect of a fast-growing company at the CEO level.
How will you contribute to our transformative mission ?
Your main responsibilities include:
(i) Group Strategy:
- Support the Head of CEO Office in developing, updating, contributing, or reviewing high-impact strategy presentations for internal (e.g. ExCo, Senior Managing Team, etc.) or external purposes (e.g. Board, schools’ vendors, etc.) to ensure the successful execution of our mission and vision.
- Support the Divisional CEOs and Regional Managing Directors in the preparation of monthly reports to track their progress vs. strategy and financial budget, before submitted to Board.
- Support the Head of CEO Office in ensuring timely completion, seamless coordination, and high-quality and reliable deliverables for all Board-related presentations.
- Support the Head of CEO Office in tracking the progress on the strategic initiatives (e.g. EdTech, ESG), including review of cross-functional KPI dashboard, and coordinate reporting to Group CEO and rest of the Board.
- Support the Head of CEO Office in coordinating the update of the M&A pipeline progress with Investment & Partnership and M&A teams, ensuring the Group CEO and the Board has up-to-date information.
(ii) School Strategic Reviews:
- Coordinate the market study on +30 schools annually led by a strategy consulting firm.
- Progressively become the central point of contact to make sure the process is well organised internally with divisional teams across 8 regions (timeline, requirements, etc.).
What we expect you are and you have:
- 2-3 years' experience in a leading management consulting firm or Investment Banking.
- Strong interest in the education sector, and strong desire to learn and make a positive impact.
- Proven organisational skills including the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work in autonomy and adjust to changes.
- Solid MS Excel (Advanced) and PowerPoint skills.
- Detail-oriented, collaborative, and team player.
- Excellent English communication skill. Oral communication and written reports will be in English.
- Ability to synthesize messages for top management. You display and expect clarity in ideas, plans and actions.
- Preferably based in Madrid or will travel regularly to Madrid.
