Purpose of Role

This is a new role within the Group’s Tax and Treasury Team reflecting the fast pace of growth of the Group. You will be reporting to the Group’s Head of Tax and Treasury and will have one direct report being the Group’s Tax Manager.  As a new role in a fast-growing company, there is the possibility for the role to develop and grow with the successful candidate’s interests.

ISP Head of Tax Compliance and Reporting Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the preparation and review of UK Corporate Tax returns for all UK companies
  • Manage the Global Outsourced Compliance contract with our advisors for all group entities which will involve attending monthly review meetings to understand the position across the group and escalate matters as necessary
  • Work with regional finance teams to onboard new acquisitions for tax purposes
  • Assist with the preparation and review of the quarterly UK VAT return
  • Assist with the preparation and review of annual PSA reporting
  • Responsible for the preparation of the Group’s consolidated tax reporting for inclusions in the Group’s IFRS consolidated financial statements, working alongside the regional finance teams to understand local tax positions
  • Review of tax notes included in the UK’s solous financial statements which are prepared by the UK finance team
  • Maintenance of the Group’s Tax Risk Register
  • Plan and implement the processes and reporting required for UK Senior Accounting Officer
  • Work with the wider team on other projects across the Group, for example in transfer pricing, global mobility, cash repatriation, and M&A

 

Skills, Qualifications and Experience 

  • ACA or ATT qualified
  • A minimum of 5 years experience
  • Excellent English speaking and writing skills
