We are looking for an experienced and dynamic individual to drive our Human Resources (HR) department. As a Senior Human Resources Executive, your main responsibilities will include overseeing all aspects of HR operations in the organisation. You will play a crucial role in shaping and driving the people strategy of our organisation, ensuring compliance with the labour laws and regulations, and fostering a positive and inclusive work culture. This will be an excellent opportunity for you to build an HR department and lead your own team.

We are looking for an experienced individual who is not only able to perform general HR functions, but also to lead and cultivate the Human Resources team to contribute to the company’s purpose and deliver on the employees’ needs.

About us:

 

We are a unique campus, home to Tenby International School, which consists of a Primary, and Secondary School (IPC, National Curriculum for England, CIE, IGCSE and A Level) and a Malaysian Private School, Sekolah Sri Tenby (Malaysian National Curriculum). The campus welcomes over 2000 amazing students, aged from 3 to 18 years and from 38 nationalities; with 1350 attending the international school, 600 of whom will be in the primary school. Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Accounting or similar.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the Human Resource Department.
  • Willing to commit time and energy to continuous improvement.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills
  • Responsible, reliable, trustworthy
  • Independent and proactive when faced with challenges.
  • Excellent collaborator and team-player
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Able to manage high to moderate levels of stress.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Independent worker while being a good team player.

 

Your responsibilities:

  • Manage the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, candidate screening, and interviews.
  • Manage employee onboarding and orientation, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires.
  • Collaborate with department managers to identify staffing needs and facilitate workforce planning.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
  • Coordinate training and development programs to upskill employees and promote career growth.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Manage HR records, including personnel files, benefits documentation, and other relevant data.
  • Administer employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
  • Prepare HR reports and metrics for management review.
  • To support in any other HR and administrative tasks as and when required.
  • Assist in any ad-hoc HR projects.
