About the Role:

We are seeking a content writer with a strong background in creative content creation. The elements you'll bring to work every day are a flair for writing, a knack for strategic thinking, and a sharp mind for ideas.

You are also expected to keep an eye on what's going on in the education industry, track your competitors, and stay updated with online trends.

What you will do:

• Conduct in-depth research on industry-related topics to produce original content.
• You are expected to make SEO-specific website content like blogs, landing pages, website pages, meta descriptions, alt. texts, and other website content, including whitepapers, FAQs, webinars, testimonials, and events pages.
• Produce compelling marketing content such as but not limited to Press Releases, EDMs, Newsletters, and WhatsApp Messages as well as copywriting for Infographics, video content (Shorts/Descriptive/Product videos), and banners (static, carousels) for social media ads and organic posts.
• Produce Offline Marketing collateral content such as- School Magazines, Brochure, School Annual Calendars, Annual Reports, Standee etc.
• Develop and maintain an editorial calendar.
• Ensure brand consistency across all content (style, fonts, images, and tone)
• Good understanding of social media channels, right from building content and measuring the impact created by social properties, especially on LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube
• Create internal communications as well as staff engagement content such as newsletters, emailers, surveys, polls, presentations etc. 
• Good knowledge of how SEO works, as well as a solid concept of keyword intent and its usage.

What we would like you to have:

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, English, Journalism, or a related field.
• 4-6 years of experience as a writer
• The ability to analyse and improve your writing based on user metrics.
• Excellent grammar and creative writing skills
• The ability to write using different tonalities and styles under deadlines
• Experience in editing and proofreading
• The urge to learn things fast.
