Mosaic is a multilingual and multicultural school which offers a bilingual education in French and English. For nearly 20 years, the school has been developing and delivering a unique and original programme in which all subjects are taught in both languages.

 

The British School of Geneva (BSG) was founded in response to an ever-growing need in Geneva for private, anglophone education and a specific demand for the English National programme.

They offer the cohesive English National Curriculum from Reception through to A-Levels (Years 12 and 13/Sixth Form). 

 

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

 

For our two Geneva schools we are searching for a  HR Manager Switzerland 70-80% to support in ensuring smooth and efficient business operations. The HR Manager will have both administrative and strategic responsibilities, helping to implement services, policies, and programs. Reporting to the school heads with a dotted line to the Regional HR Manager – Europe the successful candidate will assist and advise the schools principals about HR issues and focus on providing exceptional employees’ experience.

 

The ideal candidate will be bilingual in English and French, will have excellent communication & organizational skills, and a proven HR experience in Switzerland.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

-          Act as key point of contact for all staff on HR-related matters

-          Implementing and monitoring guidelines and procedures

-          Implementing processes

-          Investigate complaints/grievances brought forward by employees

-          Coordinate employee development plans and performance management

-          Manage staff onboarding and offboarding

-          Prepare reports as requested

-          Maintain HR files and both schools’ single central register

-          Work closely with the Head of finance on budgets and relevant matters

-          Inform and work closely with the external payroll provider on monthly payroll

 

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

 

-          Bilingual in French and English (at least level C1 in both languages is required)

-          University degree’s in HR or business

-          Brevet Fédéral de Spécialiste en Ressources Humaines is a must

-          Experience in HR in an international environment

-          Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills

-          Thorough knowledge of HR procedures and policies

-          Knowledge of Swiss payroll

-          Advanced knowledge of MS Office – Excel, HRIS systems
