ISP Associate Director (Real Estate) Role Profile

 

Purpose of Role

The Investment and Partnerships team is responsible for acquiring and building schools globally.  This is a fast-paced team working across global time-zones to grow our family of schools. The Associate Director, Real Estate will be the newest addition to this team, working either on a fully remote or hybrid basis.

The team is extremely collegiate in approach and this individual will be expected to work across numerous cultures and geographies. They will have close collaboration with Investment Directors who work across the globe to grow ISP’s platform through acquisition and greenfield opportunities.

ISP Associate Director, Real Estate Key Responsibilities
  • Develop market knowledge and identify potential greenfield opportunities for ISP to invest in to aid our global expansion
  • Work with the wider Investment & Partnerships team to assess the viability of expansion opportunities for acquisitions targets
  • Analysis and structuring of real estate transactions including risk and price modelling
  • Assist on the negotiations with property developers and investors
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders both internal and external

 
Skills, Qualifications and Experience

  • RICS or similarly qualified preferred, would also consider Masters in Real Estate
  • 5 + years experience in a commercial real estate company or preferably real estate private equity role
  • Evaluation and financial modelling for real estate investments is essential
  • Experience in project managing a real estate project highly desirable 
  • International experience / cross border work would be preferable
  • Advanced financial understanding
  • Excellent research and analytical skills
  • Personable and a successful networker and persuader
  • Ability to manage own priorities and work independently
  • Self-starter, motivated to succeed, able to deal effectively with ambiguity
  • Familiarity with the education sector would be an asset
  • Fluent in English
