Tenby Schools Setia Eco Park, Kuala Lumpur campus is a large 3-18 school located on a green 20-acre site with excellent facilities and offers a welcoming, inclusive, and stimulating place to work. We are looking for an experienced Primary KS2 Year Leader and Classroom Teacher to join our 5-form entry International Primary school and lead one of our classes to the next level of learning. You will need to be passionate about learning and passionate about developing as a teacher. You will have at least 2 years experience as a class teacher in Primary. Please indicate clearly in your application which year groups you have taught in and for how long. You must be good at working with and, inspiring your colleagues, our students, and their parents.

We are a unique campus, home to Tenby International School, which consists of a Primary, and Secondary School (IPC, National Curriculum for England, CIE, IGCSE, and A Level) and a Malaysian Private School, Sekolah Sri Tenby (Malaysian National Curriculum). The Role

 

We are looking for someone who:

 

• Puts children at the heart of everything they do.

 

• Is an outstanding Primary practitioner with a teaching qualification (minimum PGCE or equivalent).

 

Has experience of planning and teaching for the UK curriculum.

 

• Models a positive and learning-focused environment in their own classroom.

 

• Has at least 2 years of experience in delivering high-quality teaching and learning for all pupils.

 

• Is an inspiring teacher with a proven track record in making students better.

 

• Is able to prioritise and delegate effectively.

 

• Is a strong communicator, who is personable, caring, and passionate with high expectations of themselves and others.

 

• Is committed to getting better through continued professional development and excited about working with others to get better too!

 

• Can build a positive relationship with staff, students and parents.

The Package

 

This is a two-year contract with an option to renew at the end. Benefits include:
