Laude San Pedro International College is seeking to appoint an inspirational, resilient and dynamic leader for its growing Secondary School. The successful candidate will join our committed senior leadership team who aim to offer an outstanding learning experience for our students which goes well beyond the classroom.

The Secondary School consists of a team of highly experienced teachers from a range of nationalities and previous experiences, reflecting our truly international community. The senior and middle leadership team is well established and is seeking a supportive, empathetic and collaborative leader with high standards and expectations to lead the secondary school into a new era. The secondary school is growing from a three to four form entry and a growing sixth form will be moving to a new neighbouring modern campus from September 2024.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience of the English National Curriculum as well as (I)GCSE and A Level Courses. We also look beyond the curriculum and so enrichment opportunities and ideas are highly valued and developed in our school. The role requires a high level of resilience and dynamic energy in a school which is characterised by growth and change with significant international relocating families.

University Degree and recognised teaching qualification
Proficient level of English (Mother tongue / C2 level)
At least two years’ school middle or senior management experience
Eligible to work in the EU (visa support will be given)
Experience teaching and managing UK and/or International Schools
Excellent communicator
A high level of resilience to pressure and ability to manage multiple priorities
Strong interpersonal skills
ICT skills to manage and understand many school systems
Ability to lead by example the staff and pupils
Strong organisational skills and aptitude to work both independently and collaboratively
A team builder and player, able to motivate students and colleague and build positive relationships
Flexibility and the capacity to adapt positively to any given situation
Knowledge of the Spanish language
Flexibility; someone able to operate at pace and comfortable within an innovative, bold, rapidly changing school
A global outlook; someone who has worked internationally
Experience working as part of a wider group of schools structure
Experience working within a commercial environment
