ISP Regional Systems Accountant Role Profile  

Purpose of Role  

Providing system implementation, support and effective operation of our core financial system, Oracle NetSuite and integration to regional finance team and local finance users focusing on tax and reporting compliance. This role will be working across the group and closely with regional finance system team for the timely roll out of the system into the newly acquired schools. This role will be reporting to group head of financial system.

ISP Regional Systems Accountant Key Responsibilities  

  

  • Lead and deliver all implementation and development tasks in a hands-on capacity.
  • Subject matter expert on local compliance process and legal reporting in the system, and 3rd party tax compliance application.
  • Gather business case requirements and compliance data flow, statutory reporting needs, data migration requirements, perform gap analysis and specification documentation.
  • Validate configuration, process, and customisation from 3rd party application, and assist business case UAT and end user training as part of ongoing onboarding activities for new school.
  • Anticipate statutory changes, changing customs and tax regime, and ensure version release from 3rd party application perform UAT and deployment.
  • Tracking of issue and resolution with 3rd party application, ensuring changes and fixes apply across all schools in the region.
  • Perform data reconciliation activities and BAU support activities.
  • Perform walk through and end user training on improvement changes in the system.
  • Assist regional finance team and local finance users with processes, reporting needs and recommend the optimal use of the system and aligning to group process and reporting structure.
  • Work with regional finance stakeholders to build regional system road map that will form part of the group road map.
  • Support SuiteTax migration.

  

Skills, Qualifications and Experience 

  • Experience with Oracle NetSuite in multi book reporting, data analytics, Suiteflow, roles and permission, custom forms, saved searches, reporting, transactional tax calculation.
  • Experience in implementation and support of EPM including financial planning, CAPEX, account reconciliation, and cash forecasting.
  • Experience with SaaS VAT reporting, electronic documents, and digital financial reporting.
  • Confidence in collaborating and acting as a trust advisor to local finance team and MIS team across regions covering Poland, Italy, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Morocco and other countries.
  • Familiar with local financial standards and tax framework.
  • Experience with Suite Cloud Platform, Suitescripts, Web Services and Rest APIs is a plus.
  • Related financial or technology qualifications.
  • Proficient in local language.
