ISP Finance Manager Morocco Role Profile (Location: Casablanca, Morocco)
Purpose of Role
The ISP Finance Manager Morocco is the main finance point of contact for schools in Morocco, having a special focus on finance & systems integration.
This role reports directly into the onboarding Manager Morocco during the integration of newly acquired schools in Morocco into the ISP Group. Once the integration phase is completed this role will report into the School Principal(s) with a dotted line to the Regional Finance Director Europe.
During the finance integration process, this position ensures that the integration plan is built timely for the school, region, and group. This position also ensures that the plan is applied and delivered. The Finance Manager Morocco will be supported by the Regional Finance Director and Regional Finance Team to ensure a consistent integration approach is adopted across the group and best practice methods are shared.
This role will be the main point of contact with incumbent finance teams and help embed new finance team members as applicable. This position is on-site at our schools located in Casablanca.

ISP Finance Manager Key Responsibilities
Understanding of new acquisition/greenfield
- Review the investment paper
- Review the due diligence reports and address the issues identified
- Gather and prepare pre-acquisition data
- Perform the acquisition accounting
- Calculate final deal payments
- Perform reconciliation and analysis of current trading to investment plans
- Undertake necessary P&L and Balance sheet reconciliations for accurate reporting, with focus on Revenue, Staff Costs and Cash
- Review key supplier and parent contracts
- Assessing local finance teams capability
Stakeholder management
- Building relationships to enable effective influencing of project delivery
- Actively engage all key stakeholders and partners, ensuring that timely and accurate decisions are made to maintain deadlines
- Overseeing the flow of tasks and identify potential issues for proactive intervention
Feedback to Integration management
- Ensure consistent data is collected for improvement and reporting purposes
- Propose improvements to process for consideration by management team
- Collect, review, and consolidate feedback from stakeholders and report to integration management team
Reporting, Compliance & Control
- Integration of the School into the wider ISP network, ensuring policies and procedures are adopted and ISP practices are followed
- Work with incumbent finance teams to understand current finance processes and propose improvements
- Implement processes to ensure the timely and accurate reporting of all monthly and annual financial information, which include Profit and Loss account, Balance Sheet, Cashflow, Debtors and Capex reports.
- Design internal control systems for all functions in the school to ensure the safeguarding of regional assets and monitor and enforce internal controls.
Financial Planning and Analysis
- Preparation and submission of the school budget and in year reforecasts
- KPI and performance monitoring to identify any areas for improvement
- Perform profitability analysis.
- Assist the group with gathering data and preparing reports for key personnel as requested.
- Undertake such other reasonable responsibilities and tasks that may, from time to time, be assigned by the onboarding Manager - Morroco and other key stakeholders.
Systems
- Lead the implementation and adoption of the ISP core accounting platform, NetSuite, and support other key ISP core system implementations.
- Ensure schools in Morocco use NetSuite properly and in line with group policies and procedures. Work with ISP NetSuite team on project implementation.
- Implement procurement tool
- Assist in implementing the school management information system as appropriate
Skills, Qualifications and Experience
Required
- Strong background within project management
- A methodical, highly organized approach to the execution of assigned tasks and responsibilities
- Recognised Accounting/Finance qualification or equivalent (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA, MBA, CFA etc.)
- 10 to 15 years experience
- Experience in change management, preferably with experience of integrating acquisitions into a Group
- Strong technical accounting skills, comfortable with system integration and implementing a chart of accounts
- Advanced Excel skills
- Ability to build good working relationships with all members and levels of the organization. Comfortable working in a matrix structure
- Strong initiative, motivation & integrity, to be able to operate independently
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail, strong writing, interpersonal and communication skills
- Fluent written and spoken English and French are essential requirements of this role
