We are seeking to hire a IT Executive to commence employment as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities
Configure hardware and software, setting up peripherals such as printers or routers, repairing equipment, and providing daily support for computer network to staff/students. users. Assistants may work at a help desk, answering calls and e-mails regarding the computer network or communication systems.
Responsibilities
- Provides assistance in the use of personal computer hardware, software, and specialized mainframe technology or operates a multi-platform computer environment or monitors the production scheduling, execution, and successful completion of production jobs
- Sets up and configures desktop computers, peripherals and accounts assigning security level
- Installs software and installs and repairs hardware and peripherals
- Tests programs
- Troubleshoots, diagnoses problems, implements corrective action procedures within prescribed guidelines and/or escalates to other technical resources as appropriate
- Administers user accounts
- Designs and produces basic reports
- Sets up and submits production jobs and edits and debugs computer output
- Transfers computer files between platforms
- Provides basic troubleshooting, repair and maintenance for computer equipment (e.g. microcomputers, disk drives, and laser printers) and may assist with testing personal computers and peripherals on a network to diagnose, hardware versus software problems
- Acts as a staff/students liaison for the computing operation, communicating, resolving, and/or initiating the resolution of problems and concerns
- Arranges for distribution of output to staff/students
- Maintains records
- Any other duties as may be assigned by the Head of Department
Other duties and responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with others to develop effective professional relationships.
- Communicate effectively with parents, students and staff
- Undertake any other reasonable duties requested/assigned as required by SLT or Line Manager, especially regarding the school’s administrative function.
- Always follow the school’s policies and procedures.
Communication, marketing, and PR
- To ensure professional and effective communication and consultation, as appropriate, between colleagues, parents and students at Asia Pacific Schools.
- Publicise and celebrate achievements.
- Assist with the organisation of open evenings, consultation events and other events relating to the school.
- To contribute to marketing activities for Asia Pacific Schools.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma/Degree in IT / MIS or equivalent
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision
- Knowledge in Network Infrastructure will be an added advantage
