Key Responsibilities:   

1. To maintain the physical resources of school campuses in the following areas:

a)   Electrical       

b)   Plumbing       

c)    Masonry       

d)   Paint work   

1. To assist in supervising the installation of physical resources by contractors.

1. To carry out repair or improvement works involving physical resources of the School campus.

1. To undertake maintenance work requested by school staff or Campus Principal.

1. Organise, direct, schedule and participate in the maintenance and operations of school facilities including custodial, grounds keeping and general maintenance operations of school owned facilities.

1. Direct and provide technical guidance to assigned staff.

1. Serve as the school health & safety officer and follow up on health & safety action from audits/reports.

1. Oversee scheduled maintenance of equipment and licence renewals related to the buildings.

1. To assist in the preparation of physical resources for school functions.

1. Inspect facilities weekly to determine problems and necessary maintenance.

1. To prepare report and follow up on defects and safety measure for the school.

1. To ensure the observation of occupational safety measures of maintenance staff while undertaking all risky maintenance work.

1. Track status or work / project completion and maintenance and operations activities.

1. Responsible for the overall operations of the Building/Facilities (cleaning, landscaping, security mechanical & electrical services, scheduled maintenance, structural and non-structural renovation works), Safety & Security, Canteen Operations, Bookstore & Uniform vendors.

1. To help conduct regular safety checks on all electrical fixtures and fittings in the School.

1. To assist in the regular maintenance of school firefighting equipment (extinguishers, fire glass panels, fire hoses, etc.)

1. To conduct School evacuation and safety drills.

1. Monitor inventory of materials and equipment.

1. To undertake any other duty as and when required by the Campus Principal, Regional Property Services Manager and Head of HR & Administration.
