ISP Regional HR Officer Role Profile

 

Purpose of Role

The HR Officer is expected to provide administrative support to the Middle East HR department, and support on the delivery of the HR agenda in the Middle East. This role is crucial to the sustained growth of the schools, their promotion as the school and employer of choice in their local area and the effective delivery of the Amazing Learning message that is at the centre of the ISP vision.

The HR Officer will report directly to Middle East HR Director and will work closely with the regional HR team to ensure regional HR compliance and administrative duties around the employee life cycle. The post holder will be expected to build a close working relationship with colleagues in the ISP regional team, school HR teams and school leadership to fully perform their duties in the Middle East Regional Office.

Location: Dubai, ISP ME Regional Office

In coordination with stakeholders:

  • ISP Middle East Team
  • School HR Teams, and other relevant stakeholders across the regional school network
  • Third Party Vendors

Reporting Line: HR Director, Middle East Region

ISP Regional HR Officer Key Responsibilities

1. Regional Office HR Administration

  • Drafting employee letters, certificates, Offers & Contracts
  • Regional recruitment support in accordance with our safer recruitment policy
  • Scheduling and coordination of Regional HR Meetings
  • HR communication
  • Compliance of Risk Assessments (SRRA) Criminal Background Checks (CBC)
  • Manage the regional office Single Central Register (SCR)
  • Employee files and HR system updates
  • Visa administration and Ministry of Labor compliance
  • Medical Insurance Administration
  • Onboarding of new joiners
  • Offboarding coordination

 

2. Regional HR Projects

  • Employee engagement activities and action planning
  • Employee engagement survey and NPS
  • Admin support on review of HR policies
  • Induction, onboarding and offboarding projects
  • Analysis of data and creating PowerPoint presentations
  • Org Chart / Job Description reviews and updates
  • Admin support on comp & ben projects
  • HR reporting
  • Development of CPD projects and training sessions
  • Performance Management
  • Regional HR audits
  • HR improvement projects
  • Admin support on structural changes

 

3.  Employer Branding

  • Admin support on ISP Brand and Profile
  • Development of employee value proposition

Other Responsibilities

  • Undertake such other reasonable responsibilities and tasks that may be assigned by the Middle East HR Director, Regional Managing Director and the International Schools Partnership.
