About Montessori Academy of Broward

 

Montessori Academy of Broward (MAB), located in Pembroke Pines, Florida, is seeking a motivated and dynamic Middle School Mathematics Teacher, who is committed to ensuring student achievement for all students in the classroom. Our students at Montessori Academy are held to extremely high expectations regarding both academic achievement and character development. A successful candidate must have the unyielding belief that all children can and must succeed.

Experience and Requirements

 

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Must hold current FL Teacher Certification for Middle Grades Math (5-9) or Mathematics (6-12). 
  • Demonstrate mastery and enthusiasm for subject area.
  • Be proficient in educational technology.
  • Be able to produce at least two professional references.

  • Passionate about subject area, innovative, and positive in the face of challenges.
  • Open to feedback and committed to continuously improving through professional development.
  • Collaborative practitioner who works well with colleagues.
  • Strong communicator who keeps parents informed of all student needs and achievements.
  • Have the ability to work with a team of committed and supportive colleagues.
