Primary Academic Support Teacher
REPORTS TO: Head of School
STATUS: Exempt
DIRECT REPORTS: No
SALARY: $58,000-$64,000
Purpose of Role
The Primary Academic Support Teacher/Learning Specialist will provide essential academic support to our Kindergarten through 4th Grade students along with their families so that students with learning challenges flourish academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually. Support from the Learning Specialist will facilitate and encourage student self-advocacy, skill development, and the achievement of personal and academic goals.
The Learning Specialist will work in a highly collaborative environment and will partner with students, parents, teachers, administration, and outside providers to effectively support students, understand individual needs, and facilitate student success.
