Opening in 2018, TTA is on a purpose-built campus located in an attractive green setting in a suburban area of Tropicana Aman, just outside of Kuala Lumpur. With currently 500+ students on role, age 3 -16 across primary and secondary, our vibrant and dynamic school continues to grow and has already fostered a happy atmosphere and strong sense of community.

Our primary school follows the National Curriculum for England, incorporating the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) thematic approach in teaching and learning activities. In our secondary school the National Curriculum for England is delivered at Key Stage 3 leading up to IGCSE. We offer a wide range of IGCSE subjects and are an accredited center for CAIE, Oxford AQA and Edexcel.
 
As a teacher you will be a valued member of our school community supported by own leadership team and other learning clusters and networks, both regionally and globally. The school has access to a global Learning Hub.
 
We are seeking a dedicated, dynamic and highly committed Physical Education teacher. If you are passionate about your subject, who is eager to communicate their enthusiasm for sport and physical activity to encourage students to strive for success, while developing an understanding of the importance of an active lifestyle – we are the school of choice. Successful candidates will be willing to teach a wide range of sports and are creative in your approaches to encourage a love for sports. You must be flexible, a team player, committed to supporting department colleagues and are willing to contribute to the wider life of the department and school through extra-curricular clubs and fixtures. The ability to teach GCSE PE would be highly desirable. 
 
You must also have a track record in fostering a caring and supportive atmosphere and be a passionate educator dedicated to the well-being, social and academic progress of each student. You will have a real desire to make a significant contribution to the wider life of the school.
 
 
 
The Role
 
 
  • To uphold t School’s Vision, Mission and Core Values.
  • Full responsibility for English Language teaching and assimilation into the mainstream curriculum for EAL students having little or no English language skills
  • Equip EAL students with the necessary English vocabulary, oral and writing skills
  • Work closely with parents, class and subject teachers to continuously support the English needs of EAL students
  • Successfully write and implement EAL Teaching and Improvement/Development Plans
  • Analyse assessment data to measure EAL students’ progress
  • To possess growth mindset and embrace change
  • To possess excellent knowledge and experience of assessment and tracking to inform student progress, including the use of standardised tests
  • To deliver INSET/training to staff as part of the CPD programme
  • To assist the School with developing greater ‘impact on learning’ practices
  • To have sound knowledge and practice of the National Curriculum for England, curriculum development and current educational thinking
  • To be an excellent practitioner

The Package
