Role Profile
A School Admissions Executive manages the entire admissions process, from initial enquiries to enrolment. They provide exceptional customer service, conduct school tours, and ensure compliance with all requirements. Proficiency in English, Malay, and Mandarin is essential for effective communication with diverse families. The role also involves data management, collaboration with school staff, and promoting the school to prospective families, making it crucial for driving student enrolment and enhancing the admissions experience.
About our School
Tenby Setia Eco Gardens (SEG) is sited on a beautiful 18-acre campus in Johor Bahru, home to Tenby International School and our Malaysian private school, Sekolah Sri Tenby. We are a growing campus, with currently almost 1000 students and over 100 staff on site from over 30 nationalities.

Key Responsibilities
Enquiry Management:
- Respond promptly to all admission enquiries.
- Issue prospectuses and school information.
- Conduct pre-visit briefings and coordinate school tours.
- Follow up with prospective families post-visit.
Admissions Process:
- Manage and track all stages of the admissions process, from enquiries to enrolment.
- Maintain accurate data in the school’s MIS (Management Information System).
- Ensure compliance with visa and registration requirements.
- Organize and deliver transition events and information sessions.
Customer Experience:
- Provide exceptional customer service to prospective families.
- Collect and act on feedback to improve the admissions process.
- Work with the marketing team to promote open days and other events.
Data Management:
- Maintain and analyze admissions data to optimize conversion rates.
- Prepare reports and forecasts for senior management.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with the Head of Marketing and Admissions and other school staff.
- Ensure all staff adhere to defined processes and procedures.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and the ability to relate well to people at all levels.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and administrative abilities, with attention to detail.
- Sales Skills: A sales mentality to effectively promote the school to prospective families.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with MIS databases.
- Experience: Prior experience in customer service or sales, ideally in an educational setting.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in English, Malay, and Mandarin.
