ISP Humanities Teacher Role Profile

 

Purpose of Role

 

We are seeking a compassionate special education teacher experienced in teaching students with special needs. The ideal candidate will be patient, innovative, and organized, committed to helping students overcome learning obstacles.

We are a unique campus, home to Tenby International School, which consists of a Primary and Secondary School (IPC, National Curriculum for England, CIE, IGCSE), and a Malaysian Private School, Sekolah Sri Tenby (Malaysian National Curriculum). The campus welcomes almost 1000 amazing students, aged from 3 to 16 years, and from over 60 nationalities. Our students go to universities, colleges, and careers of their choice both in Malaysia and overseas. ISP Humanities Teacher Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in History and Geography that align with curriculum objectives.
  • Inspire students to explore the world’s past and understand its geography.
  • Incorporate a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Assess and support student progress, ensuring academic excellence.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a vibrant and inclusive learning community.

 

Skills, Qualifications and Experience

  • A Bachelor’s degree in History, Geography, Education, or a related field.
  • Recognized teaching certification (e.g., PGCE, PGCEi).
  • Proven experience teaching History and Geography at [insert level, e.g., secondary].
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for education and inspiring young minds.
