Job Opportunity: Assistant Accountant (Fixed-Term – 1 Year)

Platon Private School, a proud member of the International Schools Partnership (ISP), is seeking a dedicated Assistant Accountant to join our Finance Department for a one-year fixed-term contract.

If you have strong organizational skills, great attention to detail, and experience with ERP systems, we would love to hear from you! Familiarity with NetSuite will be considered a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recording accounting entries and invoices in accordance with Greek Accounting Standards (ELP).
  • Reconciling balances and accounts with suppliers and customers.
  • Supporting the submission of tax obligations via myDATA.
  • Assisting with the full accounting cycle (expenses, payments, fixed assets, etc.).
  • Collaborating with the finance team to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Participate in the implementation of a new system (testing, identifying and resolving gaps compared to current system).

Required Qualifications:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (University/College/IEK).

• 3–5 years of experience in a similar role.

• Good knowledge of myDATA and related tax procedures.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with NetSuite ERP system.

• Familiarity with Epsilon Pylon software.
