The Role

We invite suitably qualified and experienced candidates to join our school as a Head of Humanities, ideally a Geography specialist able to also offer History, teaching across Secondary in KS3 & KS4. Candidates should be enthusiastic, adaptable and highly committed to contributing to the development of the Humanities department. You must have a creative and energetic approach towards ensuring high quality teaching and learning, and in raising the profile of Humanities across the Campus. An understanding and experience of the Key Stage 3 National Curriculum for England is essential, and ideally prior knowledge and experience of teaching IGCSE. You must have a degree, QTS or equivalent with teaching experience, particularly in a student-centered learning environment.

The Package

This is a two-year contract from Jan 2023 till Dec 2025.  Benefits include:

Interviews

Initial interviews will be completed through Microsoft Teams Meeting. Final interviews will be carried out face-to-face whenever possible.
