ISP Administrator Role Profile

Purpose of Role

The school Administrator is responsible for overseeing all administrative management duties within the admin department and to support them on their day-to-day activities and provide high level administrative/ secretarial support. It is important for the Administrator to understand the structure of the organisation, and quickly familiarise themselves with all internal as well as external stakeholders as they will be a focal point for various projects carried out within the organisation.

ISP Administrator Key Responsibilities

  • Orientation and induction for new Parents and Students
  • Carries out specific projects and research
  • Facilitates annual review and update of company Policies
  • Prepares PR items to create and increase exposure on the social media and website
  • Drafts, types and dispatches reports, articles, letters, Newsletters, agendas and minutes/records of meetings
  • Checks all correspondences before sending for signature
  • Devises/maintains office systems, including data management and filing
  • Uses appropriate IT resources to aid presentations, conferences, Corporate visits
  • Prepares letters presentations and Reports
  • Manages office budgets
  • Attends meetings with SLT
  • Always observes a code of strictest confidentiality
  • Undertakes other duties commensurate with the post to ensure the smooth operation of the responsibilities of the company’s function
  • Streamlines processes, ensuring the team works as efficiently as possible
  • Takes responsibility of all admin tasks and support admin team
  • Monitors work requirements in the absence of the senior administrator
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing tasks as needed

 

Other duties and responsibilities

  • Perform playground duties on time and with due diligence to safeguard Hamilton students
  • Take all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities
  • Assist in implementing all policies and rules governing student life and conduct
  • Ensure that, all the necessary health and safety rules and procedures are being followed
  • Maintain an awareness of all the health and safety measures to be taken when in school

 

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 3 years’ work experience
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent word processing and IT skills, including knowledge of a range of software packages
  • The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Good time management skills
  • The ability to research, digest, analyse and present material clearly and concisely
